Use Your Voice...and support Women for Women International. This amazing organization works with socially excluded women in eight countries where war and conflict have devastated lives and communities. They enroll women in a one year program where they learn job skills and receive business training so they can earn a living and often times support their entire family. The women get access to the basics like food, clothing and medicine but more importantly they get access to self-sufficiency and hope. As I always say it is the small things that make the big difference, and there are many small ways to help make a difference in the lives of these women. Check out the WFWI website to get involved, donate, sponsor and learn about the other programs and designers they partner with. And from the picture above it looks like the WFWI collaboration with the women of Rwanda and Kate Spade is one pretty way to get involved.
