Accidental Brilliance Superfood + Supplement Series...Homemade Skin Masks
When it comes to superfoods, cooking with them and eating them is not the only way to reap the benefits. Been traveling a lot lately and I feel like my skin is suffering because of it, it needed a little extra care so I pulled out two of my favorite, super duper simple at home skin masks that guarantee exfoliated and hydrated skin. The best part is, you probably have most of the ingredients in the kitchen already. If you are looking to exfoliate, the oatmeal gets rid of dead skin cells and lemon acts as a natural toner. If its hydration your after, the essential fatty acids of the avocado will do the trick, and the honey is one of my most favorite ingredients in the pursuit of soft skin. If you don't have time to do a full mask, my super quick trick is to smooth a teaspoon of honey preferably raw on your face and leave it on for a few minutes, then just wash off with warm water. Super skin is just a few simple ingredients away.
